Author & Comicbook Artist, Will Eisner and GLAAD Award nominee, Eva Cabrera is the cofounder of Mexican studio BoudikaComics. She was born in Veracruz, Mexico, but most of the time she likes to travel and see other places. She is a lover of animals, books, and nature. In her free time she likes to watch shows, movies, and play video games.
Since she was little, she has been fascinated by telling stories through drawing. Little by little, she has developed her work as a female comics artist, and it’s become very important for her to be a representative of the creative women in Mexico.
She has illustrated the Betty & Veronica: Vixens series for Archie Comics, Kim & Kim for Black Mask Studio [a comic with three nominations], and she has collaborated with publishers such as Oni Press, ComiXology Originals, Andrews McMeel Publishing, Black Mask, and others. She also designed covers for Cartoon Network’s Adventure Time series for BOOM Studios.

Nació en Veracruz, México, pero la mayor parte del tiempo le gusta viajar y conocer otros lugares. Es amante de los animales, los libros y la naturaleza. En su tiempo libre, disfruta de series, películas y videojuegos.
Desde pequeña, le ha fascinado contar historias a través del dibujo. Poco a poco, ha desarrollado su trabajo como dibujante de cómics, y para ella es muy importante ser una representante de las mujeres creativas en México.

Elliot is my 16-year-old Siamese cat. Three years ago, he had a dental prophylaxis and surgery to remove a nasal mass, which required blood work, histopathological testing, and feeding through a nasogastric tube.
Elliot es mi gato siamés de 16 años. Hace tres años tuvo una profilaxis dental y una cirugía por una masa en la nariz. Es por eso que se le tuvieron que hacer estudios sanguíneos e histopatológicos y estuvo recibiendo alimentación por una sonda nasogástrica.
At the beginning of January 2026, Elliot started feeling unwell again. He is currently facing the challenges of old age; he was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and urgently needs dental surgery for a detected infection. I know to some he might seem like “just an older cat,” but to me, he is family u_u. My only wish is for whatever time he has left to be lived with dignity, well-being, and without pain.
A comienzos de enero de 2026, Elliot volvió a sentirse mal. Actualmente está enfrentando los retos de la vejez; le diagnosticaron hipertiroidismo y necesita una cirugía dental urgente por una infección detectada.
